DETAILS FOR LOST TRADES FAIRS IN 2021 - Updated September 2020 with information we have on public gatherings, festivals and events.
YES - we are planning to run three Lost Trades Fairs in 2021 - Bendigo, Victoria (March) - Toowoomba, Queensland (May) - Richmond, NSW (Oct)
FAIR TIMES: Gates open at 9.30am. Fair closes at 4.30pm.
TICKETS: Adult Tickets $22.00. Juniors: 5 - 16 years are $10.00 (kids under 5 years are free) - Pricing for 2021 subject to change depending on restrictions
DOGS: Strictly NO dogs are permitted (service dogs must have official ID/vest)
CARERS: Carers card accepted - when accompanying person in care that has a ticket the person with the carers card receives free entry.
PRE-BOOKING: Guaranteed entry. Scan straight in. Booking before the day helps organisers better cater for crowds.
TICKETS: Tickets for 2021 Lost Trades Events will be online only. There will be no tickets at the gate due to the requirements to collect email addresses and phone tracing information. This will be the new normal for large gatherings, events and festivals.
TRANSPORT: There is car parking onsite at the fair
ACCESSIBILITY: The Lost Trades Fair is held outside. It is an outdoor event space, many areas are flat but not paved. There are grassed areas that most exhibitors will be located on - they are not paved and the ground although flat may be a little uneven.
We do not have mobility scooters for hire.
WHAT YOU WILL SEE: There are no set demonstration times. All artisans at the fair demonstrate and share their skills throughout both days.
WHAT YOU CAN BUY: Artisans will have things that they make for sale, a number of artisans will run 'hands on' mini - workshops. Many artisans run workshops throughout the year - many of them are listed on our workshop website and updated throughout the year (see shop + workshops).
FOOD: There is a range of food makers serving freshly prepared food & drinks - no prepackaged pies/hot dogs/muffins etc. There are vegetarian and gluten free food options available. DRINKS: We support local and have a strict drinks policy - no prepackaged soft drinks or cans and strictly no alcohol at the fair. There is water and a range of homemade cordials, lemonade, tea and coffee. Water fountains are onsite to fill water bottles.
